Rosa M. Dailey, President and Founder
Rosa M. Dailey, founder of the Fetal Physiology Foundation, through the experiences of friends and family members, developed a strong interest in developmental disorders in children. Mrs. Dailey is a technical writer and editor with over 25 years of communication experience and a past President of the Baltimore chapter of the Society for Technical Communications. Rosa Dailey received her Bachelors of English from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 1981.

Faith Tanney, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Faith Tanney received her Ph. D. from Ohio State University in Psychology in 1972. She has been in private practice for over twenty-five years and for the past ten years has had a special interest and expertise in Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Dr. Tanney has served in a variety of leadership positions in psychology on both the local and national level and is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology.

Andrew W. Zimmerman, M.D., Scientific Advisory Chair
Dr. Andrew W. Zimmerman is a Pediatric Neurologist and research scientist at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. He is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and has a special interest in autism and immunology. Dr. Zimmerman is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He trained in pediatrics at the University of Michigan, later served as a clinical associate in the Developmental and Metabolic Neurology Branch of NINDS at NIH, and trained in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins. He has served on the faculty of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and was in private practice in Knoxville, TN until he joined the Kennedy Krieger institute in 1994.

Susan L. Connors, M.D.
Susan L. Connors, M.D. is a Board Certified Internist who has been doing research in the field of autism at the Kennedy Krieger Institute while raising an autistic son. Dr.Connors has completed a study of prenatal drug exposure in twins with autism, using a clinical sample and the Autism Genetic Resource Exchange, and a study of polymorphisms of the beta 2 adrenergic receptor in fraternal twins with autism spectrum disorders. She is interested in physiologic and gestational influences in developmental disorders and has published several papers on those topics in autism with colleagues at Kennedy Krieger. Dr. Connors is a graduate of Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts and the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester.

Alan C. Ray
Alan C. Ray is an investment advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. in Columbia, Maryland. Mr. Ray obtained his Bachelors of Economics from Washington College in 1967. He served in the United States Army from 1967 – 1970. Alan Ray has been an investment strategist since 1979. He served as Regional Vice President of The Copeland Companies from 1979 to 1990, where his clients included many regional medical centers, local governments, and non-profit organizations including the National Geographic Society. He is a past President of the Columbia Town Center Rotary and a past Assistant Governor for the Maryland-DC Rotary District. Mr. Ray has also served on many non-profit boards.

Sydney Cousin, Ed.D
Sydney Cousin, superintendent of Howard County Public Schools, began his career in education in Baltimore City in 1967 as a teacher of world history, a position he held for four years. From the classroom, Dr. Cousin began a long career as an educational facilities planner for both Baltimore City and Howard County. He served Howard County Public Schools for 14 years, first as Associate Superintendent for Finance and Operations, and then Deputy Superintendent/Chief Operations Officer. Dr. Cousin was appointed superintendent in March 2004.
